unless you are a new member that paid after June.
Club Rules and Expectations
General Conduct
1. You are considered
a representative of the Joliet Mud Turtles, as well as an
adult, and a representative of the four-wheeling community
as a whole. It is important to hold yourself to the highest
standards of behavior as we are on display to other
off-roaders and their families. We expect you to behave
accordingly.
2. Alcohol
consumption will not be tolerated on trails or any time you
are driving. Passengers may not drink on trails as well.
Violators will get one verbal warning; the second offense
removes you from the event.
3. Illegal drug use
will not be tolerated at any time. There is NO warning -
the first offense gets you removed from the club.

Safety Requirements
1. Seatbelts for all
occupants, worn at all times
2. First-aid kit
3. Fire extinguisher
4. Front and rear tow points. Tow balls are not acceptable
5. Adequate tow strap and tree saver with properly sized
clevises
6. Battery hold down

3. Rollbar (roll cage preferred)

Club Outings
Dates, times, and
locations for club outings will be determined at the club
meetings. All participants will be expected to adhere to
the club Rules and Expectations outlined above. The
Sergeant of Arms will be responsible for organizing the
outing. His responsibilities will be:
1. Assemble the group
for review of the general conduct rules and safety
requirements.
2. Check all vehicles for safety requirement compliance.
3. Group vehicle by capabilities. Base route/trails on these
capabilities.
4. Plan routes/trails
5. Enforce drug and alcohol rules.
